In den vorliegenden Aufzeichnungen vom Herbst 1711 nennt August Hermann Francke (1663–1727) neue Bauprojekte, die zum Großteil noch zu seinen Lebzeiten entstanden sind, beispielsweise das Pädagogium, das Lange Haus und das Krankenhaus. Andere, noch heute bedenkenswerte Pläne kamen nicht zur Ausführung, wie der Bau eines Arbeitshauses. Trotzdem konnte Francke voller Stolz seine Haupt- und Nebenanstalten aufzählen, welche hauptsächlich der Ausbildung seiner Schüler, ihrer Unterbringung und Versorgung und natürlich der Verwaltung dienten. Diese Ausführungen sind eine Art knappes Resümee des sechzehnjährigen Wirkens August Hermann Franckes in Glaucha. Zudem sind sie ein typisches Zeugnis für sein planmäßiges, zielstrebiges und besonnenes Handeln. Die Aufzeichnungen waren nicht für die Öffentlichkeit bestimmt, sondern für Kritiker Franckes, gegen die er sich verteidigen wollte.

In these records from autumn 1711, August Hermann Francke (1663–1727) mentions new building projects, most of which were completed during his lifetime, such as the Pädagogium, the Lange Haus and the hospital. Other plans that are still worth considering today were not carried out, such as the construction of a workhouse. Nevertheless, Francke was able to proudly list his main and secondary institutions, which were primarily used for the education of his students, their accommodation and care, and, of course, administration. These remarks are a kind of brief summary of August Hermann Francke's sixteen years of work in Glaucha. They are also a typical testimony to his systematic, determined and prudent actions. The records were not intended for the public, but for Francke's critics, against whom he wanted to defend himself.
