The eighth and final volume of the source edition on the official activities of Halle pastors in North America, with its directories and registers, is an important indexing tool for the entire edition and an indispensable aid for its use.

The comprehensive registers now also enable extensive research into biographies, personal networks, and the history of individual church congregations and regions. The glossary of persons presents 126 individuals who are particularly important for this edition, with detailed biographies. These search options are expanded by a comprehensive subject index.
